Eat Fruits Keep Your Family Healthy

One of the top food groups that you can eat each day is fruits. Many people do not get enough of the great vitamins, minerals and fiber that are in fruits and as a result, they do not have a balanced diet. A balanced diet is extremely important for anyone trying to loose weight and eat healthy.

Most fruits are extremely good for you and although they include sugars can help you lose weight fast and deliciously. As with any food you do not want to eat too much to take in too many calories. However, most fruits are very filling, so you may not eat as much.

Many fruits include lots of fiber which is not taken in by the body and can help your body digest food and process waste more efficiently. Fiber can be found in many fruits such as bananas, apples and oranges. Fruits also include lots of water, by eating fruits you can help hydrate your body. A well hydrated body can work optimally and add a nice glow to your skin.

Eating fruits is a great way for children to enjoy a snack as well as keep away from junk foods. However, the challenge is to make them eat the fruit. I had my child eat fruits by allowing them to dip their fruit in low fat Cool Whip Lite. 2 table spoons is 20 calories and my children eat the fruit. It's not perfect but much better than eating cupcakes or chips. I'm sure, parents would be more than happy if their children ate fruits such as apples and grapes instead of chips and cupcakes.

One of the great ways to eat fruits in your normal diet routine is to enjoy fruits with cereal or yogurt in the morning, eat an apple each day at work or enjoy a fruit cocktail after dinner for desert. By eating fruits you will be getting necessary vitamins, minerals and fiber and skipping harmful foods such as junk foods.
